About this Model
When the units for this model are assembled, the model is said to be in an unbloomed state. It is an attractive polyhedron but without any floral effect. The designer gives instructions for making this model bloom into a more flowery kusudama by gently peeling down the pyramid tips. UserComments

I like a very flowery effect when making this kusudama, so I peel the pyramid tips as far down as they can possibly go without tearing the paper, and then I apply a big curl to the tips. However, this model would also look very nice if the tips were peeled down only slightly and given a smaller curl. |
