About this Model
This modular box is closed by folding six flaps down toward the center of the hexagonal shape and tucking a small tab on each flap into a pocket on the adjacent flap. Double-sided paper works best because some of the reverse side of the paper is exposed on both the outside and inside of this box.

I found folding this model to be very challenging because units I had already joined together kept coming apart as I tried to add new units. The model will lock and hold together well after the final tab is inserted at the last step, but it can be tricky until then. Sometimes I wish I had three hands -- one hand to keep a pocket open, while my second hand tucks a tab into that pocket, while my third hand braces the whole model so that nothing can come loose. In the absence of a third hand, I used a lot of paper clips and mini clothes pins to keep units stable until the final step.
