About this Model
For the main part of the card, including the crane elements, the author suggests using a sheet of medium-weight decorative paper cut to 7.5 by 12 inches (19 cm by 30.5 cm). For a small band which wraps around the bottom of the card to secure it in a closed position, the author suggests using a sheet of decorative paper cut to 2 by 5.5 inches (5 by 14 cm). The finished size of the model will be 3.75 by 5 inches (9.5 by 12.5 cm). Glue is used only to fasten the two ends of the small band and not on the card itself. UserComments

If you do not like the idea of using any glue in an origami project, it is possible to secure the crane card in a closed position with a tied ribbon instead of using a paper band with glued ends. |
